OVERVIEW
The Nag Tibba trek begins at the slopes of the Garhwal Mighty Himalayas, famously known as the “Mountain of the Snake,” which is located northeast of Mussoorie.

The Nag Tibba adventure begins in the village of Pantwari after passing through Mussoorie, a hill station.
Pantwari is surrounded by several quaint tiny settlements, including Bandsari village and Kori village, among others.
The hike descends to Devalsari and Thatyur villages from here. The distance from Pantwari to Nag Tibba’s top is 8 km.
The old deodar and oak jungles that the hikers will pass through are rich with diverse species.

DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1
- Dehradun to Pantwari and Nag Tibba Camps (4 km of trekking)
- At around 7 am, the travelers must arrive at the Dehradun bus/railway stop.
- The travelers can escape the jam on the route to Mussoorie and Kempty Waterfalls by starting the day early from Dehradun.
- The visitors will arrive at Pantwari village, their campground, after traveling by road for an hr., at which point they will start ascending to the tents at Nag Tibba along a defined path.
- Beyond the fields, the hiking route climbs and enters the wilderness. Taking 4-5 hours to complete, the trek day is easy to moderate.
- By the time we get to the tents in the evenings, the sun has already set over the Himalayas, providing a breathtaking sight. This location offers a clear view of Nag Tibba Peaks.
- Fresh mint leaves have just fallen, covering the camping area at Nag Tibba. An enticing cup of herbal tea can be made using these leaves.
- There are native herbs and Kandali bushes that can be used to make a delicious saag after being well-cleansed (curry).
- In addition to staying overnight in the tent, dinner would be offered at the campground.
Day 2
- Nag Tibba Campgrounds – Nag Tibba Top – Pantwari | 12 Km Treks | 95 Km Rides back to Dehradun
- A stunning sunrise with highlands and snow-capped peaks all around awaits you as you awaken.
- We begin our ascent of the Nag Devta temple after breakfast.
- The Nag Devta shrine is not in a great state and is devoid of a pujari.
- Locals from the area continue to frequently go to the temple to worship.
- The region surrounding the temple is large and spacious, and it serves as a cow pasture place.
- After another two hours of hiking, the route gradually ascends to the Nag Tibba ridge.
- The greenery surrounding you changes noticeably as you ascend from here. Deodar and oaks take over as the woodland gets lusher.
- After a few hours at the peaks, the visitors return to your campsite and depart for Pantwari village after lunch.
- The descent is quick and simple, and it only takes a few hours of comfortable walking to complete.
- The visitor then continues via the transportation we provided to Dehradun.
- Easy to intermediate trek routes. It is a short distance to the peak before a difficult ascent to the pinnacle.
NOTE
We advise that you bring woolen clothing, such as a full-sleeved woolen sweater, warm socks, a weatherproof jacket, etc., along with a poncho because it will likely rain during the hike and it will be cold.

Government-issued photo identification cards, both original and copy. Anything will do, including a passport, driver’s license, or Aadhar Card. The forestry department requires this for your identity.
Caution statement. This is required by law. Read it carefully before signing. When registering at the campsite, you must give this to your Trek Guide.
Certification of health. This is divided into two parts. Your consultant must fill out the first one.
You must fill out the second section. The forest department won’t authorize your excursion without the medical exemption.
