When is the best time to visit Rupin Pass?
Rupin Pass can be visited in two seasons in summer: from May to June, and in the stormy season, from September to October. How to get from Dhaula
By aeroplane
Jolly Grant Airport is a domestic airport serving Dehradun, 20 km from the city centre. There are daily flights to Delhi. The nearest international airport is about 235 km from Delhi. You can take a private taxi from there to reach Dhaula. Take the train
Regular train services connect Dehradun with the metropolises of Delhi, Lucknow, Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ujjain, Chennai and Varanasi. Dehradun Railway Station is 1–2 km from the city centre and it will not take you more than 10 minutes, depending on the traffic. To reach Dhaula, you can take a private taxi, or a local or public bus from Dehradun railway station.
By Road
The route from Delhi to Dehradun via Saharanpur. The distance between Delhi and Dehradun is 307 kilometres and takes about 7 hours and 45 minutes to travel.
