 When is the best time to visit Rupin Pass? 

Rupin Pass can be visited in two seasons in summer: from May to June, and in the stormy season, from September to October. Obviously, heavy snow falls during the summer, while the land turns green and the rainfall clears during the monsoon season. Still, the lawn begins to turn gold at the end of October, indicating the arrival of downtime. The average temperature in Rupin Pass ranges from 13 °C to 18 °C during the day and 0 °C to 7 °C at night.

Day 8: From Ronti Gad Camp (40005 m) to Sangla Valley (2675 m), with a side trip to Shimla (2276 m).

How to get from Dhaula

By aeroplane

Jolly Grant Airport is a domestic airport serving Dehradun, 20 km from the city centre. There are daily flights to Delhi. The nearest international airport is about 235 km from Delhi. You can take a private taxi from there to reach Dhaula. Take the train 

Regular train services connect Dehradun with the metropolises of Delhi, Lucknow, Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ujjain, Chennai and Varanasi. Dehradun Railway Station is 1–2 km from the city centre and it will not take you more than 10 minutes, depending on the traffic. To reach Dhaula, you can take a private taxi, or a local or public bus from Dehradun railway station.

 

By Road

The route from Delhi to Dehradun via Saharanpur. The distance between Delhi and Dehradun is 307 kilometres and takes about 7 hours and 45 minutes to travel. The roads are tough, but the trip is worth it! Inspirational thoughts will put you in a comforting mood before you reach your destination. To reach Dhaula, you can take a private taxi or city bus from Dehradun ISBT. Why go from Dhaula to Rupin Pass?

Dhaula Rupin Pass is the oldest Himalayan route. At the moment, all the companies have changed their trekking routes, but which is the oldest touring route, travelling from Dhaula, camping along the Rupin River at Dhaula, and staying overnight is a wonderful experience for the trekkers.
